 What a great event!

Dave Crossley kicked off the two day workshop with a practical approach to Photoshop. Attendees worked on their laptops with Dave and then on their own images after the individual topics. Personalized attention was given to everyone in the class.

Sunday's workshop was presented by Jen Basford of Edmond, OK. Jen's high energy had everyone motivated and ready to learn. The first half of the day was spent outdoors photographing. Jen demonstrated how to photograph in at the "wrong" time of the day by looking for the right light and using reflectors/gobos to create the light quality for professional location portraits. Her first 2 models were sisters - giving attendees the perfect chance to see how to deal with children and capture their personalities. The second model was a high school senior demonstration. After lunch Jen covered her work flow and showed how she processes images to stylize them to her signature appeal that is what her clients go to her for. Marketing was emphasized and the fun of creating a brand was reviewed.

Both workshops were well attended with lots of questions and participation from the attendees.

Check back often as the dates for the 2010 workshops will announced soon!
