As a member of PPANM, you are entitled to have up to five images (per calendar year) evaluated by a group of highly qualified judges who are all Masters of Photography. This new member benefit is being introduced to give you more feedback about your images before our annual print competition, and to assist you in determining which prints to enter. However, it is a member benefit that we hope all of you will find to be valuable, even if you don’t plan to enter the competition. The judges will give you a score using the same criteria used in the International Print Competition, and will offer comments to assist you in improving your image before you submit it to the PPANM print competition or to the PPA (or SWPPA) competitions.

So here’s how it works. Click on the link below, and it will take you to the submission form where you’ll give your name and email address, and attach your images. You’ll need to name your images (with a line between each word, like "rain_in_the_forest"). Adjust the size of your images to be 1,440 pixels in width, and use the sRGB color space. If you plan to use a digital matt in competition, it is recommended that you do that prior to submitting it to the on-line judging. In other words, with or without a digital matt, the image should be 1,440 pixels in width. In other words, in actual print competition most entrants use a matt, whether digital or not, and therefor in this informal on-line judging it is suggested that you use a matt IF you plan on entering the print in actual competition. That way, you will also receive any suggestions from the judges about your matting.
