Join us for a photographic outing to the beautiful Bandelier National
Monument and don't forget to bring your camera! This interactive and
educational safari will be lead by PPANM's very own gifted landscape
photographer, Mickey Ginn of Farmington, NM.

*The start time has changed from 8am to 9am when the park now
opens due to funding cutbacks. The safari is scheduled to start at 9:00am on Sunday Feb.
25, 2007 and go through 3:00pm.
PPANM's registration fee for this event is just $25 for members
and $50 for non-members.
The Monument does have an entry fee of $6 per person - annual
and lifetime passes will be honored. The park's entrance fee is in
addition to PPANM registration and exact change is always appreciated.
The visitor center will provide a brief
orientation by a Park Ranger. Additionally, they offer a 10 minute video in
their auditorium which introduces the Monument and the ancient people
who lived there.
Please bring a sack lunch to be held at the park's picnic area near
the visitor center.
Recommended Hotel is the Hampton Inn in nearby White Rock.

Brothers", next door to the hotel. It's a great little place with
multiple salsas. Anyone with similar interests or timetable is welcome
to join.
Things to know before you come: Frost and chance of
snow storms from October through May. Wear layered comfortable
sportswear type clothing appropriate for the season, with sturdy walking
shoes. The elevation in Frijoles Canyon is 6,000 feet and can cause
breathing difficulties for some people visiting from lower elevations.
