PPANM's annual Holiday Party is scheduled for Dec. 6, 2009 from 12
noon - 3 pm at Pappadeaux
at 5001 Pan American Freeway in Albuquerque. (Jefferson & I-25)
The cost of the meal is just $25.00 per person including tax & tip. The food
always receives rave reviews from attendees! (Yes, you did read it right - they've reduced the price
just for us!) Price of meal includes; choice of seafood, chicken or
vegetarian entree, dessert, beverage, tax and gratuity.
Members, their family, friends, employees, guests and students are all welcome at this event. You do not have
to be a member of PPANM to attend. If you are thinking about joining the
group this event is a great way to get to know the members.
Following the meal is the infamous gift exchange. This is played "Dirty
Santa" which allows for some great laughs. To participate just bring a
wrapped gift between $10-$15. The more creative the gift and the wrapping,
the better!
If you are not familiar with "Dirty Santa" style gift exchanges here are the
basics:
- Everyone participating will draw a number out of a hat.
- Numbers indicate the order in which you get to pick out a present.
- You can either open a wrapped present or "steal" one that has already been
opened.
- A gift can only be "stolen" 3 times, then it is retired and can not be
stolen again. (If you are the lucky person to make the 3rd "steal" you go
home with that present.)
- If your gift gets "stolen" you get to either open a new wrapped present,
or "steal" from someone else.
- You cannot "steal" back a present you previously had.
- No working in teams - sorry spouses!
RSVP & Payment Must be Received by Dec. 1, 2009.
2008 Party
Following the fantastic meal was the infamous gift exchange. This "Dirty
Santa" style allowed for some wonderful laughs. There were some great
presents that were repeatedly "stolen" and some that participates couldn't
trade with anyone! The infamous White Elephant was absent this year, but the
Tasmanian Devil slippers tried to fill it's shoes...
