The First Annual New Mexico School of Professional Photography was held on Oct. 8 & 9, 2006 at the UNM Continuing Education Building at 1634 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102.

Classes began Sunday Oct. 8, 2006 at 1:30pm to 4:30pm and resumed Monday Oct. 9, 2006 at 9:30am to 4:30pm. The classes provided an in depth opportunity to spend a day and a half with the instructor of each attendees choice. However, most students felt that there wasn't enough time, that the school needed to be longer!

The instructors gave outstanding classes, providing a wealth of information to the students on the topics they each covered.

The only thing missing from the school were the balloons! Due to Mother Nature, events were cancelled during the course of the school. For those who came early, they were able to see Saturday morning's mass ascension. Those who stayed later got to witness Tuesday morning's flying events!
